About Us
“New Life Nepal (NLN) was established on September 17, 2014 with the goal of providing a safe environment for children with neuro-developmental disorders who are unable to reach their developmental milestones due to their disabilities. As a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization, NLN is registered at both the local level (Regd. No: 2073/074-61) and the District Administration Office (Regd. No. 253), and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC No: 46554). Our focus is on improving the lives of children with neuro-developmental disorders and giving them the chance to reach their full potential”.
Our residential services provide a safe and nurturing environment for 25 children below the age of 17, who are unable to reach their developmental milestones due to their disabilities. These children, consisting of 17 boys and 1 girl diagnosed with neuro-developmental disorders, receive round-the-clock care and support from our dedicated team of professionals. Additionally, we also provide comprehensive daycare facilities for 7 children, consisting of 4 boys and 3 girls, who are diagnosed with neuro-developmental disorders. These facilities include a range of therapies such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, and work therapy, among others.
Our programs and services are designed to help children with neuro-developmental disorders reach their full potential by providing them with the necessary tools and support. We aim to create an environment that is inclusive and empowering, where children are able to learn and grow at their own pace. Our advocacy efforts also play an important role in raising awareness and breaking down the barriers that prevent these children from fully participating in society. We believe that every child deserves a chance to lead a fulfilling and productive life, and we are dedicated to making that happen.
Join us in our mission to create a better world for children with neuro-developmental disorders. We invite you to learn more about our programs, services, and advocacy efforts, and to get involved in any way you can. Whether you are a parent of a child with a neuro-developmental disorder, a professional in the field, or simply someone who cares about the well-being of these children, you can make a difference in their lives. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.

Message from Chair Person
Dear friends and supporters,
” I am honored to serve as the Chairperson of this wonderful organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children living with neuro-developmental disorders and breaking down barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential.
My journey with this cause began when I met a young boy named Sagar who had Down syndrome. I was struck by his positive spirit and determination, despite facing numerous challenges in his life. I felt a deep calling to help children like Sagar, and that’s when I came into contact with Altitude Australia and learned about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Child SafeGuard Policy.
Inspired by my encounter with Sagar and my desire to help, I studied the WHO-ICF model and infrastructure, as well as wheelchair training, to gain a better understanding of the needs of children with neuro-developmental disorders.
My vision for this organization is in line with its mission to enrich the lives of children living with neuro-developmental disorders and break down barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they have access to the resources and support they need to do so.
Together, we can create a world where children with neuro-developmental disorders have the same opportunities as their peers and can reach their full potential. I am grateful to be a part of this movement, and I look forward to continuing to work with all of you to achieve our shared goals. “
Sincerely,
Rajan Khanal (NLN)
